A lack of genuine heart-to-heart connections alongside stress, busyness, and distraction are all common ingredients that create a very challenging spiritual life. Yet much like physical and mental health our spiritual health is vital to our overall well-being.

Once I realized that all of this “noise” was ultimately bringing me more chaos and disruption, I decided to become proactive about the prayer life I so deeply desired and I believe God wanted of me as well.

I’ve made every effort to discover the best tips and practices that work for the everyday busy person. Tips I have now shared with friends, students, and strangers and have seen the fruits multiply in their lives as well.
I cannot force a productive spiritual life just as I cannot force an overnight weightloss program. Yet daily habits, a commitment to holiness, and an openness to the Holy Spirit are all powerful forces when it comes to bringing about change.
My goal is to hear where you’re at, pray and discern alongside you, and brainstorm ideas together that can bring about a prayer life that works for you.

Consultations are led by the founder of Hope Renewed Ministries.
A Christ seeker, Theology teacher, wife, and mama of three little ones. Cristina has a heart for the youth and those seeking the dive deeper into the faith.
Having wrestled herself with big life questions, Cristina deeply empathizes with fellow soul searchers and finds great joy in helping others discover the same joy and love of Christ that has transformed her own life.
She has helped guide others in and out of the classroom, has led prayer and healing ministries, and welcomes all gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit.
She is careful to listen, slow to speak, and quick to notice the fine details God is beautifully orchestrating within the soul.

The first consultation is always free! It’s a great starting session to get to know each other and brainstorm areas of growth. Following the first consultation, meetings together would be priced.
Yes! However, this is best tailored for young adults and/or those who are newer to the faith. Curious souls, those enrolled in a sacraments program, undergraduates, new confirmees, fall-outs from the faith, etc. If you’re well beyond a novice level in the Catholic faith then I’d be happy to point you in the direction of spiritual directors and/or other programs that can be of help and better meet you where you are! Email me anytime and we can figure out together if it would be a good fit.
Our consultation is 100% about you and your own spiritual growth in prayer and in the Catholic faith. My job is to listen, brainstorm, and help discern alongside you areas of growth, areas to celebrate, and help identify tools that can be used to help you deepen your prayer life and your life in the Catholic Church.
No! This is in no way spiritual direction or counseling. We could consider this “spiritual guidance” at most but spiritual direction is a very specific role that I cannot fill (but would highly encourage!). While personal challenges might naturally come up during our calls, the purpose of the session is not counseling — again, that is a very specific trade. If counseling or spiritual direction is your greatest need then I would absolutely encourage using those resources!
This is entirely up to you! At the start it might be helpful to meet more often to answer more of your questions and get you on a good foot with things. Once you feel more confident, it makes sense to meet less often and allow time to see how new spiritual tools and practices are bearing fruit in your life. This would widely vary from person to person 🙂 All of this is entirely flexible!
Absolutley not. This is for anyone curious about the faith or simply wanting to dive deeper. However, please note that Hope Renewed Ministries is anchored in the Catholic Faith. All are welcome to book a consultation and the goal is to learn more about the faith and, if desired, to grow more in that faith as well.
